Privacy Policy

Odrifit ("we", "us", "Odrifit") provides an AI-assisted wellness app on
iOS, Android and the web that helps you track health habits — food, water,
steps, weight, menstrual cycle and other conditions you choose to log — and
gives you personalised, educational recommendations based on what you
enter. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how you can control
it.
You need an account to use Odrifit. Your data is stored
against that account so it is there on any device you sign in to.
What we collect
- Account info — when you sign in with Google,
we receive your name, email address and profile photo. When you sign in
with Apple, we receive your name (the first time only)
and an email address, which may be a private relay address if you chose
to hide yours; Apple does not provide a profile photo. We use these to
create and identify your account.
- Health profile — age, gender, height, weight, goals,
and any health conditions or concerns you tell us about (e.g. PCOS,
diabetes, pregnancy, tiredness) so we can generate relevant
guidance.
- Daily logs — food entries (including photos you
choose to add), water intake, walking/step activity, weight, and
menstrual cycle dates you record.
- Apple Health (iOS only) — with your permission we
read your step count from Apple Health so your movement
updates without you logging it by hand. We do not write anything back to
Apple Health, and we never use Apple Health data for advertising or
share it with anyone. You can withdraw this at any time in iOS Settings
→ Privacy & Security → Health, and the rest of the app keeps
working.
- Approximate location — if you allow it, we check your
location once to work out which country you are in, so
food and portion suggestions match what is actually sold near you.
Only the country is kept. Your coordinates are not
stored. You can decline, and suggestions fall back to a default
region.
- Family Circle — if you invite someone, or accept an
invitation, each of you keeps your own separate account. The person who
invited you can then see what you log — steps, water, protein, meals
including meal photographs, medication taken, and your goal — for as
long as you are in their circle. You are shown exactly what will
be shared before you join, and you must agree. Either of you
can end it at any time, and when you do, their access stops
immediately. If you leave a circle, the person who invited you keeps
only your name and the date you left.
- Feedback — anything you submit through the in-app
feedback form, along with an optional photo and contact email.
- Device/technical data — standard technical data
needed to operate the app (e.g. crash/error logs), and camera access
only when you actively use it to photograph a meal.
How we use it
- To operate the app: save your check-ins, calculate targets (calories,
protein, water, steps), and show your history back to you across devices
when signed in.
- To generate the personalised, educational recommendations described
in-app. These are not medical advice — see the in-app Disclaimers page
for the full detail.
- To analyse meal photographs. When you photograph a
meal, that photograph is sent to Google's Vertex AI
service to identify the dish and estimate its nutrition, and the result
is returned to you. Google processes it on our behalf as our service
provider.
- To write the short note about a supplement. When you
add a medicine, its name is sent to Google's Vertex AI
to produce the one-line description shown on the medicines page. The
health concerns and the goal you have entered are sent with it, so the
note can say whether the supplement is relevant to you. Nothing else
from your profile is sent, no note is written for non-supplement
medicines, and each name is only ever sent once — the answer is reused
after that.
- With your separate, specific consent (shown once at sign-up, and
toggleable anytime in Settings → "Help improve Odrifit"): food photos
and the dish details you enter may be used to improve Odrifit's food
recognition for everyone. These photos are not linked to your name.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with
advertisers.
Where it's stored
Odrifit runs on Google Cloud / Firebase. Your account and
everything you log — your health profile, daily logs, cycle dates and
weight history — are stored in Google's India (Mumbai) region,
and the servers that process them run there too.
Meal photographs are stored in India as well, in the same
Mumbai region, as of 17 October 2026. They were previously held in the
United States and have been moved.
Analysing a photograph is separate from storing it. When a
photograph is sent to Google's Vertex AI to identify the dish, as described
above, that request goes to a global Google endpoint, so the analysis may
happen outside India even though the photograph is kept here. If you would
rather no photograph of yours left the country at all, you can use Odrifit
without the food-photo feature and log meals by typing them instead — no
photograph is uploaded that way.
Some text you type is analysed the same way. Avoiding
photographs does not mean nothing leaves the country. Two kinds of text you
type go to Google's Vertex AI on that same global endpoint, so those
requests may also be processed outside India:
- A medicine you add. Its name is sent, together with
the health concerns and goal you have entered, so the short note about
the supplement can be written. Sent once per medicine name; the answer
is reused afterwards. If you would rather it did not happen, do not add
medicines — everything else in the app works without them.
- A dish you type instead of photographing. Its name
and the portion you give are sent, so its nutrition can be estimated.
Nothing about you goes with it — no name, no account, no health
profile. Each dish and portion is sent once and the answer reused, and
you can tap Skip beside a dish to log the meal without
sending it anywhere.
If you opted into the food-photo improvement programme, photographs you
donated to it are kept separately from your account and are stored
in the United States. You can turn that programme off at any time
in Settings.
Sign-in itself is handled by Google's and Apple's own services, subject
to Google's privacy policy
and Apple's privacy
policy.
How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as your account exists. When you delete
your account, your data and the account itself are removed and cannot be
recovered. Donated food photos, if you opted in, are not linked to your name
and are removed from the improvement set when you delete your account.
Your choices
- You can turn off the food-photo improvement program anytime in
Settings, without losing access to the app.
- You can decline location and Apple Health access, and the app keeps
working.
- You can leave a Family Circle at any time, which immediately ends the
other person's access to your data.
- You can delete your account and all associated data anytime at
odrifit.com/delete-account.html, or
from inside the app under Profile → Data & account. You can request
a copy of your data by emailing
admin@odrifit.com.
Children
Odrifit is
not for anyone under 18. We ask your age when you set up
your account and you cannot continue if you are younger than that. India's
Digital Personal Data Protection Act treats anyone under 18 as a child and
requires a parent's verifiable consent before their personal data is
processed — we have no way to obtain that, so we do not accept accounts for
under-18s at all. If you believe someone under 18 has created an account,
email admin@odrifit.com and we will
remove it.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date above
and, where appropriate, notify you in-app.
